Between 2000 and 2007, Jose was responsible for Latin American Corporate Finance for Calyon Securities USA Inc., New York, (Crédit Agricole Group), focusing on corporate and governmental finance advisory services to institutions in Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina.

Prior to joining Calyon Securities, he held the position of Director of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank Argentina, where he prepared and lead financial transactions such as the subscription of stock rights for Cresud, among others.

Before working at Deutsche, Jose was Vice Chairman of Crédit Lyonnais Securities USA Inc., in New York, where he organized and structured security offerings in Mexico and Chile.

Earlier on Jose was a business executive at Tornquist Bank and Lloyds Bank Argentina, with lending responsibilities to Argentine based companies.

• Assistant to the Secretary of Finance of the Argentine Republic (2005 – 2006).
• Member of the Advisory Board of the Academy of Business History of the San Andrés University.
• Member of the Advisory Board for Latin America of Hillary Clinton for President 2008.
